Check out this video that Hillary is running in Texas. There's no smell like the smell of desperation...

Obviously, the ad is nothing more than fear mongering. And quite frankly, unless Superman is on the other end of that phone call we're already screwed...

And you thought comedy was easy.

I won't go into the details of what transpired here, you'll just have to wait and see when it makes it to air, but needless to say I am a gifted actor.

Congress is asking for a further investigation of Roger Clemens for this whole steroid fiasco. Should I comment on the impending recession, the housing market or the war in Iraq first?

So, I signed up for Facebook today. If getting on MySpace was some kind of defeat, then this is utter collapse. I did a bunch of stuff on my profile there, and I'd love to link you to it, but I can't even figure out how to find my page at the moment. If anyone can figure it out and send me the link please do. Hard to believe I help my parents with their computer problems, isn't it?

I'd write more but I have to get back to poking people, and honestly, I don't really know what that means...

I have a whole bunch of catching up to do since being back, and I'm slightly under the weather, so instead of a lengthy post enjoy this lil video that Ben made recounting our adventures. There are several others on the way and then of course all the footage that will air on TV. Enjoy the video and then head over to www.BenHarvey.net for more Ben related stuff. And while you're at it head over to Here! for all other entertainment related needs...

There's no business like show business.

So, five days later, Ben and I have returned from our trip to LA. Here we are pictured with the werewolf from the new season of The Lair. I can't tell you any spoilers but lets just say the werewolf does several things you'd expect from a werewolf.

I have many thoughts, stories and interesting experiences that I wanna tell you about but most importantly I have to wash all the blood out of my clothes from my incredible acting work. Full left coast report either later today or tomorrow...

So, I'm off to LA early tomorrow morning. It looks like our schedule is pretty hectic and we'll be doing all sorts of stuff, so I'm pretty psyched. While it'll probably take awhile before I get my Hollywood Star of Fame, I thought I'd show you a picture of Billy Crystal's star because my mom always says I should be more like him.

I'll be back on Sunday and will try to post once or twice if I can get to a computer. Feel free to chat amongst yourselves in the comment section until I return.

City Slickers 3 here we come...

Few people know that I originally wanted to be a professional basketball player and not a comedian. Of course, when a skinny white guy says that people begin to laugh, and thus I started thinking I was funny. Damn shame though, cuz if I was in the NBA, I would be doing things like this...

800 posts, folks. And as promised, an announcement. Drum-roll please...

The Ben and Dave Show has officially been picked up by the Here! Network. Our premiere is on March 14th, which will be a compilation show to get people caught up with what we've been doing. Thereafter, we will be airing original episodes that were shot specifically for TV. The audio and video podcasts will continue weekly as well, though there will be special content just for just for the network. Those of you who have been watching and listening already you know that the studio is currently being built and should be fully ready in a matter of days.

The whirlwind has already begun as Ben and I are heading to Los Angeles to do some promotional stuff for the show next week. I've somehow made it for 9 years in comedy without ever going to LA so I figure this trip will either make or break me. Looks like we're staying in a pretty swank hotel, so I have high hopes. If anyone has information on how to deal with LA posers I will gladly accept some advice.

So, that's the big news. After sitting at my computer 800 times to write something for Rubinville, I now have a TV show to validate some of this. And, since I can related anything to Star Wars, allow me to quote Count Dooku speaking to Anakin Skywalker when I say...

"This is just the beginning!"

Of course, a moment later Count Dooku was decapitated by Anakin, but that's not really the point.

Or is it???

801 tomorrow...

Roger Clemens says he was never injected with anything, but it sure looks like he enjoys doing some injecting.

Oh, if I only had a virtual band leader who could say things like, "DAYYYUM, Dave!!" or "You COLDDD, Dave!"

If only.

So this post marks the 799th posting on Rubinville. In about two weeks it's also out fifth anniversary around here. The pundits said we'd never make it this far, but we showed them all wrong and it's all thanks to Al Gore for inventing the internet.

I'll have a big announcement tomorrow for my 800th post. Get your party hats ready, people, it's gonna be biiiiiiig. Seven "i" big.

We've got primaries today in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. I'm thinking Obama might sweep, though if Hillary cries at the right time she might pull one out. Mike Huckabee is still sticking around on the Republican side, kinda like a crazy, religious, nut-job running for president would be likely to do.

How pissed is John Edwards that he is getting more press about who he will endorse than he when he was running for president?

It's absolutely freezing (21 degrees) here in NYC today. I took Emma for a walk this morning and she peed ice cubes.

A nice visual to end on, don't you think?

Apologies that it's been a couple days, folks. Fortunately not much happened, though Hillary managed to cry again and my main man Obama won a couple more primaries. I also had a great time going out on Friday night and had a delicious tuna steak for dinner tonight.

What'd you do?

Please excuse the strange color/poor lighting...

If that won't inspire you to vote, I don't know what will...

Super Tuesday is tomorrow, which means that there is a good chance we'll know who the nominees will be in a little over 24 hours. Now that Rudy is gone, the man above, Barrack Obama, has my full support. I expect CNN to be knocking on my door shortly for an interview about why I am endorsing Obama, but as loyal visitors to Rubinville I wanted you guys to know first.

It's time for change, so one way or another get out and vote tomorrow. (Unless you plan on voting for Mitt or Hillary, then feel free to stay home.)

Unbelievable Super Bowl yesterday. I nearly choked on my seven-layer dip when the Giants took the lead. And trust me, it's not easy choking on dip.

I think I'll do a Super Tuesday Video Blog. Get your bandwith ready...
