Bae Arthur was on The View today, which reminded me of this, one of the most ludicrous things in the history of television. Though it should be noted, if you can combine Boogie Nights and Star Wars (see post from a couple days ago), then why can't Bea Arthur work in a cantina in Tatooine?

It's been an interesting few days for me. I had a weekend full of powerful conversations with friends and family, and then the week starts with my childhood hero Clyde Drexler on Dancing with the Stars. Then, the next day, one of my comedic heros, Bea Arthur, goes on live TV for the first time in recent memory. This all comes off a week that had one of my first comedic inspirations, Richard Jeni, killed himself. Life is full of signs, and I'm not exactly sure what these signs mean to me, but I have my suspicions.

By the way, the best line of this video is when Bea says, "I'll run a tab for the Empire." As if Darth Sidious hadn't run up a huge tab already...
