Iron Avatar Aliens Wars Man

Real-life Iron Man suits are now being tested by Raytheon Sarcos, a defense contractor in Utah. Frankly, I think the suit looks more like the thing Sigourney Weaver used in Aliens or what the general used in Avatar, but we'll stick with the Iron Man reference since that's what CNN went with here.

The name Raytheon Sarcos definitely sounds like it could've been a bounty hunter from Star Wars, though.

Now check out the future of war, or past of movies...

  1. Leave it to CNN to go with an easy sound bite. I'm with you, Dave. It certainly looks more like Sigourney's strap-on from "Aliens" than it does Iron Man's suit, either the original bulky yellow thing that made Tony Stark look like the Michelin man, or the later streamlined red-and-white version.
