If You See What I See, If You Feel What I Feel
On this 5th of November, it seems fitting to post this brilliant scene from "V for Vendetta." As a comedian/podcaster/blogger/babbler I'm a sucker for words, and this is a pretty spectacular use of them...
Sigh, Dave. Isn't that always the way. You start out with inspiring words and then the ball gags, and the flying knives, and the guns show up. Just another typical Friday night in America. Even though this clip is set in London. So technically, if not allegorically, it doesn't apply to the United States. By the way, are you advocating a violent overthrow of our government? Are you sure you don't live in the Alaskan wilderness. . .where you can see Russia from you gun-stocked mountain cabin? Am I rambling on and on?
